Pisces is the current vernal equinox sign, influenced by Earth's precession. This phenomenon, known as the precession of the equinoxes, is a gradual movement of the Earth's rotational axis over a cycle of approximately 26,000 years. As a result of this precession, the position of the vernal equinox moves through the zodiacal constellations, marking the start of the spring season. Currently, due to this celestial movement, the vernal equinox falls within the boundaries of the Pisces constellation, aligning it as the astrological sign signifying the beginning of spring.

PISCES is a stage within the alchemical process. This stage plays a significant role in the broader sequence of transformations and spiritual development associated with alchemy. Alchemy, an ancient system of symbolism and philosophy, often integrates stages or symbolic phases to represent various aspects of purification, transmutation, and enlightenment. In this context, PISCES specifically denotes a particular phase that may involve emotional depth, spiritual growth, or symbolic transformations related to water and aquatic themes, as these elements are traditionally associated with the astrological sign of Pisces.
